Office Of Student Living And Engagement

Responsible for the leadership and direction for the business affairs, budget management and control, recruitment and occupancy management, and residence life activities for the Office of Student Living and Engagement. As member of the Division of Student Affairs Leadership Team, the Director worked closely with the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs to advance the strategic direction of the residential experience, facility management, and business operations of housing program. Responsible for the development and promotion of community engagement and residential education. managed the day-to-day operations of residential communities; facilitated resident engagement and academic initiatives. Oversaw and coordinated crisis response; purchasing; lead and participated in department and university-wide collateral responsibilities and initiatives.

Office Of Student Engagement

Worked closely with the Department of Student Programs and Leadership Development to assist first‐year students in meeting their educational, interpersonal, spiritual, and social needs during their first year at the institution. Developed and and implemented lesson plans for use in weekly classes.

Office Of Student Engagement

Supported a relational, strategic, and coordinated approach to the administration, management and support of new student programs. Supervised a staff of New Student Leaders. Conducted training and enablement on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts for staff. Trained faculty and staff volunteers on how to facilitate parent and guardian discussions.

Department Of Residential Life

Supervised multiple residential areas. Responsibilities included the daily functioning and management of the residential areas, community development, co-supervising staff, educational discipline, programming, crisis intervention, administrative organization, and facilities management.

Office Of Fraternity & Sorority Life

Provided leadership and guidance for elements of the Fraternity and Sorority community experience. Advised formal recruitment processes for Fraternities and Sororities; shared advising responsibilities for all of UConn councils.

College Of Liberal Arts And Sciences (Clas)

Provided general academic advising to incoming students. Clarified student educational goals, explained and recommended appropriate course work and academic pathways based on those goals.

Department Of Residential Life (Student Welfare)

Enforced preventative efforts and educational sanctions designed to enhance student learning related to expected standards of behavior. Conducted multiple student conduct-related assessments, statistical reports, and research projects.

Office Of Judicial Affairs

Assisted the Office of Judicial Affairs in developing and implementing annual revisions to Code of Student Conduct and Sanctioning Guidelines. Reviewed incident reports, uploaded reports and other documents into Maxient database, and performed sanction follow-up.

Student Life Office

Project planning, scheduling, and developing drawings and specifications for concept through final design. Met with key stakeholders including Office of Residence Life and Student Government in order to present projects and gain student support and input.
