Head of AML

Internal Auditor – foreign subsidiaries (UK, Hong Kong SAR, Slovak Republic, Hungary, Croatia):- assessment of the Internal Control System;- assessment of local policies and procedures and their compliance with the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, local and European regulatory framework;- assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes;- daily contacts with the interested functions of foreign subsidiaries;- periodical on site visits.

- analysis of the customers financial transactions;- analysis about the purpose and the intended nature of the business relationship, analysis about the source of the invested capital; - reporting of suspicious transactions to the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Italian Central Bank (UIF);- reporting of non-compliant transactions to the Ministry of Economics, according to the article 49 of the Legislative Decree n. 231/07;- placing of precautionary blocks on the customer accounts;- authorization of transactions requested by customer on a blocked account;- controls over the Electronic Transactions Database (Archivio Unico Informatico);- Anti-terrorism controls;- production of Customer Due Diligence documentation requested by other foreign financial institutions.Furthermore:- I contributed to develop the "rules" for the automatic calculation of customer’s AML risk profile;- I prepared the document for the enforcement of the new Italian Central Bank indicators for the analysis of potentially suspicious transactions.

As a member of the AML Task Force for Eurizon Capital SGR SpA:- examination of the national and European legislation/regulation (AML Directives and regulations):- examination of the FATF/GAFI and Wolfsberg regulations;- production of Italian Asset Managers Association (Assogestioni) guidelines

- Know Your Customer (KYC - adeguata verifica) of new customers;- Checking of the proper feeding of the Electronic Transactions Database (Archivio Unico Informatico) and generation of reports to the Italian Central Bank.

Underwriter tecnico legale

- Analysis of customer’s incomes in order to check the customers payback possibility.
