If I had to boil down my personality to two adjectives, I'd be satisfied with 'creative' and 'enthusiastic'. I am looking for a job that encourages me to learn, to be independently responsible for my work and output, that rewards increments in performance and competence. I am, in other words, aspiring to find an opportunity for personal and professional development. My interests are broad and flexible. My overarching passion is the psychology and physiology of high performance, which dovetails with my long-held fascination with the ideal of sanity (on which I wrote two books, and am working on a third), the flourishing of intelligence, and health. I specialized in Occupational Psychology during my Bachelor; and I followed that with a Master in Health and Medical Psychology. I am extremely drawn to art and abstract thinking. I love to write. I tried multiple times to abstain, to quit, but I couldn’t keep my fingers off the keyboard for long. In the past few years, I spent a great deal of my best hours and energies writing (which also means introspecting and thinking). My obsession is the topic of sanity, and, as I mentioned, I wrote two books about it (one a more nonfictional/autobiographical one; the other one a novel), and I’m currently working on a third (a meditation on the ideal of sanity, its definition, and significance, etc.). I am also a devoted climber, and I take it very seriously, almost religiously, as climbing is a form of moving meditation, a sophisticated and primal problem-solving with your body, as well as a stimulating community-based activity that is so good for the body and soul. Additionally, I’m quite enthusiastic about tea. I brew tea the gongfucha way (aka, the Chinese ceremony) and, for me, it is a delicious way of connecting with myself and others and nature. What connects all my interests and pursuits is a deep fascination for the human mind, meditation, and the optimization of our experience. Life, I believe, is something too beautiful to miss.
