It's been several years now in the field of computer science where I've seen practically everything, but one thing stands out above the rest: both hardware and software must always serve users. The IT department can't be an entity apart from 'nerdy' and geeky people; it must align with the company's objectives and the users within it, striving to contribute in the best possible way to overall success.Despite working with computers, servers, cloud services, applications, etc., I believe that one of the most important qualities for a computer scientist is empathy. The ability to put yourself in the users' shoes, understand their problems, and thereby (obviously alongside extensive technical knowledge) provide the solution that best suits their needs.The second thing that cannot be overlooked is the famous 'magic touch.' By 'magic touch,' I mean the ability to solve virtually any problem with a simple movement of the index finger, clicking in the same spot that others have been pressing countless times but achieving completely different results.I believe these two would be among the main virtues that have allowed me to grow professionally and personally throughout my entire career, achieving a high level of satisfaction both for myself and for the people I work with.
