Research scientist specialized in the development of cardiac digital twins, with experience in computational modeling and multiphysics simulations. Currently leading the Alya development team at ELEM Biotech, a spin-off company from the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, my research covers valvular fluid-structure interaction, cardiac electromechanics, and AI-driven models aimed at improving cardiac safety.I hold a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering (2015) and a Master’s in Aeronautical Engineering (2018) from Politecnico di Milano, as well as an MSc in Computational Fluid Dynamics from Cranfield University (2017) through a double-degree program.I pursued a PhD in Mathematical Models and Methods in Engineering (2022) at the MOX Laboratory, Politecnico di Milano, under the supervision of Prof. Alfio Quarteroni, where I developed multiphysics and multiscale models for cardiac hemodynamics as part of the iHEART project. The postdoctoral work at the same lab deepened my expertise in cardiac electromechanics and myocardial perfusion, complemented by a research stay at Johns Hopkins University in Natalia Trayanova's lab, where I focused on computational models predicting stroke by simulating atrial hemodynamics.
