Alberto has combined his international top academic career with providing expertise and consulting services to leading multinational firms and regional governments. His contributions to environmental strategies and innovations have been recognized as "out-standing," as illustrated by prestigious awards and the more than 12,700 citations to his works registered by Google Scholar. He is also the founder and director of Talent Incubator, an initiative funded by leading firms to boost the professional careers of selected young talented people. The Talent Incubator's innovative programs have helped more than 1,000 university students take their first steps in executive careers and connect with prestigious firms. In recent years, Alberto has collaborated with top international firms such as Alight, T-Systems, AWS, Google Cloud, Leroy Merlin, and Service Now. He is now the Alight Chair of Talent & Leadership and the T-Systems Chair of Innovation in Digital Sustainability at the University of Granada. In the academic arena, Alberto has gained professional experience at prestigious institutions worldwide, including some of the top research organizations in Europe and the U.S., such as UC Berkeley, UCLA, and ETH-Zurich. He has also provided consulting and academic experience in over 50 different countries and has published his research in most of the top-tier international journals in management.Throughout his career, Alberto has led teams of heterogeneous profiles to deliver top analytical outputs and successful innovative solutions. He is one of the founders of the Group of Research on Organizations and Natural Environment (GRONEN), a network of experts in management and the natural environment that has become the most prestigious academic organization on business sustainability in Europe. Furthermore, Alberto is an active member and has served as Chair of the Organizations and Natural Environment Division of the Academy of Management, the biggest academic organization in business management.
