I'm part of stringing crew on BC project (PRES) rotating and developing tasks as hanging glass, splice mid span sleeves, sagging, dead end and clipping in conductor.Utilizes the equipment and skills to construct the project Manitoba Minnesota Transmission Project (MMTP) 500KV. In Charge of 4-man crew, developing stringing tasks as: Tie in, Dead end conductors, and OPGW, installation of in-line arrestors. Following the QC concepts of Manitoba Hydro. I was part of tower Erecting and Assembly

Red Deer, Alberta

Worked on a 4-man crew to complete assigned projects on 14.4 / 25kv aerial and underground on timely manner in Red Deer Alberta area. Performed maintenance on the electrical distribution system on de-energized and energized line using live line techniques, as installation of the different apparatus as: regulators bank 200 and 400-amp, transformer bank, transformers, and updates of the distribution electrical system. Organize and collects material, equipment, and tools for outages and projects. Following Fortis Alberta’s procedures, standards, safety, and specifications. In charge of drive, operate, cleaning, stock material, and manage maintenance records of Radial Arm Digger truck or Live line Bucket truck, depends on tasks. Availability for and unscheduled outages, or trouble calls.

Canada

Utilizes of the equipment and skills to construct the TL’s from 115 / 500KV. with knowledge of operating and maintain the different hand tools, and equipment such as: Grips, shackles, Jacks, and adequate caution on all other tension rigging according with Powerlines, application of EPB&G, imploding, Press and more qualifications. I was part of different Stringing crews, development tasks as: Tie in, splice, and deadend conductors all these from a single to quad bundle, and shield wire or OPGW. I participate on the different projects across Canada, working under Safety Practices Regulations according OHS and Different companies’ standards as: BC Hydro, Altalink, Saskpower, Manitoba Hydro, Hydro One, and Nalcor Energy. I developed tasks related with the helicopter as: long line access, lifting, flight out and catching Towers, delivering material, as part of erecting, or tower assembly.

Mexico

I was part of a 5-man crew, working across Mexico, Utilizes of the equipment and skills to Maintenance and construction of TL’s from 115 / 430KV. On the different types of structures: self-support, monopoles, guywire, wood poles and concrete poles. I was collecting material and equipment for trouble calls of collapsed tower, as well trained on Lindsey Emergency restoration System (ERS). As availability for unexpected call for duty on trouble calls I performed live line maintenance with the use the Hot sticks and bare hand on 230kv and 430kv in a safe efficient manner. I performed LT’s aerial inspection as: patrol the lines, thermography applied on connectors, dead-ends, splices, or any potentials hot spots, and looking for preventive or corrective maintenance. And terrain as: patrolling the line for ROW correction on the Vegetation’s limits of approach, identified broken glass, status of the conductors, and spacers. As many other elements to ensure the integrity of the line.
