Alberto Gómez Isassi leads the Media, Culture and Technology research lab at UAT and is also cofounder and COO of Irys: an award winning government technology company specialized in the design and implementation of end-to-end digital public sector innovation solutions. Alberto is member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (SNI), writes academic papers, and has contributed to publications like the World Economic Forum. His company works with cities and governments in multiple countries. His work with Irys in the City of San Antonio, Texas, has been awarded a Smart 50 Awards for community engagement innovation in the public sector, and is a collaborator the Urban Future Lab at the University of Texas in San Antonio.
