This significantly improved the accuracy in the environmental qualification stages and thus, reduced costs in tests.• Integration of a High Frequency Communication System in a MRTT (Airbus A330).• Creation of a strategy of qualification plan and support for the execution of tests at INTA (National Institute of Aerospace Technology) for the F-18 aircraft. And definition of environmental and certification requirements necessary to cover obsolescence in equipment.• Development of the Flying Conditions Identification Software (FCIS) program capable of determining the operational modes of the fleet of drones that vary according to the conditions of the operation and the available means.At Airbus I have developed the ability to understand the Environment stresses and conditions, i.e., mechanical (vibration, acceleration, shock…), climatic (temperature, pressure…), contaminant (salt spray, dust), vehicle parts can be exposed to during operations. Also, I needed to work with the relevant regulations as well as regulatory paragraphs and materials specifically addressing environmental matters (DO160), general safety and continuous airworthiness for both structure and systems.Additionally, during my contract I completed the Master in Aircraft Systems Integration in collaboration with Airbus and Carlos III University. Throughout its duration and with the collaboration of other 19 engineers, we developed a fleet of drones capable of detecting fires, people and animals in high fire danger areas destined for the Australian Government.
