Feb 2021 - Mar 2024Leading the team responsible for the central monorepo for the farfetch.com front-end. This is one of the projects with the most contributions at the company. This team is also responsible for ensuring the continuous maintenance and evolution of web applications, raising quality, optimizing performance and improving the development experience for Farfetch teams.Feb 2020 - Feb 2021Provide mentorship to Engineering Lead during the trial period.Leading the team responsible for the farfetch.com Product Page (PDP).Jun 2018 - Feb 2022In partnership with the Principal Engineer, I founded and managed a new Cross-Domain team, focused on enhancing performance and quality, as well as the technological evolution of applications and services responsible for the farfetch.com.Responsible for managing the task force that developed the Farfetch Progressive Web App (PWA) project. The task force had several people from different teams, with different skills set and remote people. This was a project with a big goal and very tight deadlines where it was necessary to race against time and focus the whole team on their goals.Feb 2017 - Feb 2020Leading the team responsible for the Size and Fit features across the entire farfetch.com.

- Played an important role in the development of front office applications for the farfetch.com website, handling both front-end and back-end responsibilities using C# and .NET Core for backend development and React for frontend.- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to define priorities and the delivery strategies for various initiatives related to the "Product Life Cycle", "Product Discovery" and "Product Information".- Contribution to the launch of the "Shop the Look" functionality and various AB tests within the "Product Life Cycle", especially during sales and promotion seasons, to optimize product performance and user engagement.- Improvement of CI/CD processes, resulting in simplified workflows and greater efficiency.- Collaborative involvement with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Tech Ops, Security, Performance, Release Engineers, among others, to solve problems and navigate complex scenarios effectively, such as the geographic distribution of applications.- Assumed the additional role of Agile Coach, guiding the team in agile processes, ceremonies and workflow refinement to increase productivity, focus and alignment with project objectives.

- Lead developer of Network Activator Reconciliation web interface. NA Reconciliation is a product that compares and validates the current configuration state of a mobile network against expected provisioned values.(Java 7, Play! Framework, Bootstrap, jQuery, CCS3, HTML5, Selenium)- Implementation of Network Qualifier Care web interface, a product that allows the realization of technical and nontechnical troubleshooting in the form of workflows, modelled from business processes. These workflows are executed on a BPM - Business Process Manager engine.(Java 7, MongoDB, Play! Framework, Bonita BPM, Groovy)- Development of an authentication module and web interface for IAM - Identity and Access Manager, a tool for identity management (authentication, authorization, provisioning, account federation, reporting) targeted to enterprise and operator scenarios.(Oracle WebLogic, SAML, WebServices, J2EE)

- Development in collaboration with the AMA (Agência para a Modernização Administrativa - Portugal) of a prototype that show the mapping process and technologies between the Portuguese eID card and the Operators SIM card. It provides the base to simplify and improve scenarios in different vectors – privacy, usage simplicity, increasing security. This prototype allows creating federations of identities, facilitating user authentication and making the authentication on websites more attractive for mobile devices.- Researcher and developer in PSP SEMIRAMIS - European Pilot Project (EU PSP-2010). SEMIRAMIS provides an easy-to-implement and easy-to-use solution for Single Sign-On and secure access to services on which offerings can be easily deployed.- Researcher and developer of an NTLM authentication module for Atlassian tools - Jira, Confluence and Fisheye, which provides Single Sign-On with the remaining company internal tools.- Development and demonstrations of MyPersonas, a PT Inovação solution for management of identities and privacy in multi-service providers scenarios.Study and creation of an architecture that allows a user to manage its devices in order to access the negotiated services, providing also session mobility and identity mobility. In this context, the proposed architecture offers a unified view of all devices to the user, providing a simple and innovative approach to manage such devices. This architecture also allows terminal mobility and identity mobility within the same device or between user devices, leading to a more efficient use of those devices.
