My Duties Entails• Evaluation of water services tariff applications;• Analyzing data for the credit worthiness assessment of water utilities and for annual water sector performance• Reviewing the investment and business plans of water service providers for their feasibility and compliance with their Licenses• Evaluating the performance and viability of water Service institutions and preparing reports on their financial• Carrying out reviews on the Implementation of tariffs and attached• Exploring alternative financing opportunities for the water utilities• Preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the function• Carries out Inspections of Water services providers

Achievement: Practicable and workable Accounting models and internal controlsRoutine responsibilities1. Excellent knowledge of iTax System including filing returns such as PAYE, WHT & VAT.2. Reconciliation of Bank Statements.3. Payroll preparation, computation and maintenance in the system.4. Preparation and Maintenance of petty cash books.5. Preparation of management accounts including statement of financial position, Statement ofcomprehensive income, Debtors accounts, Creditors accounts and VAT analysis report.6. Cash flow projection of a company and advice to the directors and other senior managers7. Debtors and Suppliers reconciliations from time to time.8. Credit control, ensuring that our clients pay us in good time.9. Preparation and submission of Statutory returns i.e NSSF, PAYE and NHIF.10. Posting of sales invoices, cash sale receipt and credit notes.11. Monthly maintenance of accounting records.12. Assisting External Auditors during the audit process whenever need arises.13. Maintenance of Assets register.

Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials. Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements. Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
