I have an interdisciplinary background that combines biological, exact, and social sciences. My educational journey includes a PhD in biochemistry, postdoctoral research in biotechnology and immunology, degrees in both biochemistry and chemistry, and studies in physics, psychology, pedagogy, and musical theatre.I previously served as a university professor of Immunology and a researcher at CONICET, where I published various articles and books and received multiple awards for my scientific contributions. I co-founded and led Argentina's first laboratory exclusively dedicated to technology transfer and was the primary inventor of several technological patents registered in 46 countries. My most notable invention is an award-winning medicine, which led to the co-founding of Untech in the United States, a holding company focused on bringing this innovation to the global market. As Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) of Untech, our company has received accolades from prestigious institutions such as Samsung, MIT, Stanford, and Forbes magazine. It was also honored with the Global Impact Challenge award by Singularity University at NASA's Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley.Over the past 17 years, I have gained extensive experience in all stages of drug development. My journey has included roles as a public researcher and scientific entrepreneur, where I have been involved in basic and applied research, technology development, intellectual property protection, industrial scaling, regulatory planning, and business model development. This comprehensive perspective enables me to identify and address the challenges within academia that hinder technology transfer, as well as the obstacles startups face in bringing innovations to the market.Concurrently, I have dedicated part of my professional life to systematically observing and addressing unresolved social issues. This commitment led me to co-found and serve as president of Impulso Norte, an NGO that functions as a public policy laboratory.In recognition of my contributions to science, leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement, I was honored with the “Ten Outstanding Young Persons” award by the Junior Chamber International.
