As a Global Process Expert in PTP, primarily specializing in Accounts Payable, I am responsible for leading and optimizing global financial processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance in all end-to-end payment operations, from invoice processing to payment, reconciliation, and clearance.One of my main responsibilities is to develop and implement standardized Accounts Payable processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across all our Hubs in the Americas, Europe, China, and India. This includes creating new policies such as GRIR, Advances, and No-PO, as well as building global process flows with an optimized end-to-end vision. I seek opportunities for improvements and automation beyond standardization, working directly with all regions, sharing best practices, and aligning for joint decision-making.Additionally, I am responsible for managing Accounts Payable topics in two key projects within the company: DigiT, which is the implementation of S4Hana, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system and aligning all processes with best practices; and GSS Upgrade, which involves developing the GSS (Global Shared Services) area, standardizing processes across all regions according to market best practices, and seeking systems that effectively integrate into our processes, adding value to the business. In both projects, I lead workshops that take place remotely and also in person at the headquarters in Vienna, together with the involved consultancies.

As the Accounts Payable Leader at RHI Magnesita, I managed a team of 17 people, focusing on innovation and operational efficiency, as well as the personal and professional development of the team, with feedback and goal setting and monitoring.I was responsible for invoice processing, process automation — making our area the most automated globally — and financial management, including payments and account reconciliation. My role in compliance was decisive in tax summons, minimizing risks and defending the company’s interests, in addition to having made a significant contribution to the SPED project, promoting greater efficiency in the delivery of accessory obligations, and earning an honor award in the company, as it was a project that brought a great return to the company.Beyond operational responsibilities, I had the honor of being a pioneer in creating and implementing the Innovation Committee within the GSS, leading innovation efforts for a year; I was also appointed as Brand Ambassador for RHI Magnesita, proudly representing the brand on LinkedIn, sharing insights, and promoting corporate culture.

India

I was invited to lead the entire PTP process at our Hub in India, right after the Go Live of Business activities, taking responsibility for a team of 20 people.With this opportunity, I moved to India, where I stayed for 2 months until we hired a new person to take over the role. During this period, I worked intensively on implementing the Shared Services Center culture, standardizing processes, creating control spreadsheets, and establishing an Innovation Committee to identify process improvements and propose automations.Since we had recently gone live, I held several alignment meetings with key stakeholders, explaining the importance of our GSS and the value we could add to the business.Among the main achievements during this period, I highlight the reduction of 80% of open items in GRIR accounts, the creation of a new payment tracking dashboard with visibility for the Business, the elimination of the MSME payment backlog, and the reduction of 75% of open items in bank reconciliation. Additionally, we established a work structure with daily meetings between the team and stakeholders, problem and opportunity identification spreadsheets, and standardized root cause analyses.

Additionally, I was appointed as a Business Advisor, working together with the RTR and OTC towers, always focused on innovations and process improvements, presenting management reports and dashboards to support decision-making and strategic planning. This role as a Business Advisor has helped me to think increasingly outside the box, seeking opportunities for process innovation and automation, achieving over 50% automation in the processing of incoming invoices, setting a benchmark within the company. Besides the constant pursuit of excellence in customer service, I always focus on people development, using tools and feedback to maintain a pleasant environment where everyone can grow as individuals and professionals.
