The position serves under the working title of Transfer Student Specialist. The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following; Provides support and leadership to both (FCS) Florida College System institutions and (FAMU) Florida A&M University as it pertains to established articulation agreements, liaison communications, recruitment activities, transfer admissions advising, orientation, student services and campus resources; Serves as a professional liaison between Florida A&M University & Florida College System institutions; Supports and executes the initiatives of the IGNITE transfer program; Plans, leads and/or assists with recruitment activities on and off campus; Maintains accurate records and electronic files as it relates to prospective, applied, admitted and enrolled transfer students; Travels within the State of Florida to partner institutions for recruitment activities, formal presentations, andworkshops; Assists with processing admission applications and moving students through the admission's process; Maintains professional working relationships with designated liaisons within FAMU’s schools and colleges; Maintains professional working relationships with designed liaisons at Florida College System institutions; Maintains a valid Florida Driver’s License; Ability to work well with other professional staff on/off campus; and leads and/or assists with new Transfer Student Orientation and speak and presents information about Florida A&M University in front of small and large audiences.

Internship is from January 8th, 2018 through April 27th, 2018
