Part of the data team at Inditex. I'm leading a DevOps team (world wide mates) in charge of:+ Develop, deploy and maintain the datalake platform on Azure. The platform is composed of several resources:- Azure Data Factory as ETL tool and workload orchestrator- Hierarchical namespaces Storage accounts- Databricks with a hive environment configured with an external metastore (MariaDB)- Snowflake integration to warehouse proposes- Azure Functions with queue, http, etc. triggers. Services and plans- Event hubs namespaces for managing platform events- And many other resources+ We also provide different RGs with access to the aforementioned datalake in an isolated environment (sandboxes) for analytic teams or other needs.+ We follow infrastructure as code approach based on Terraform (moving to Bicep) and YML pipelines on Azure DevOps: im/mutability, idempotency, continuous integration, continuous delivery, etc.+ Create and mantain CI/CD Pipelines+ We use Azure log analytics and datadog in order to monitor our platform+ Cross cutting concerns: Security (MSI, KeyVaults, etc.), logging, etc.+ We also have defined, configured and developed a data streaming solution on Google Cloud Platform:- Pubsub to receive Kafka events from an onprem platform- DataFlow: to read from pubsub, do windowing and generate AVRO files to ingest to Snowflake- Buckets

I have been working on different projects. Below I have detailed the most important ones in terms of new knowledge acquired.From 07/2013 to 02/2015 I was a member of the team responsible to deploy the new data center's platforms for one of the big retails companies in Spain. I was focused on the Oracle middleware stack platform. The project was split on different phases:1. Designing and testing the future platform. We worked with the customer to define a high availability and robust architecture2. Deployment of the platform. It includes a lot of products: Oracle HTTP Server, Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Coherence, Enterprise Manager, Oracle Service Bus, etc.3. Migration of the applications to the new platform. We had to review old applications to assure compatibility with new product versions: JRE, products, etc. These phase demanded a high knowledge of java and programming concepts4. Maintain the production platform. The customer bought our service to maintain its platform. It implies system administrator's task: shell scripting, UNIX concepts, etc.From 02/2015 to 03/2016 I was member of the team responsible to deploy the new real time platform for one of the big retails companies in Spain. The solution solves two main business cases:1. Ticketing2. PricingIt requires almost instant stock calculation for all the products and for every store (more than 1600 across Spain). The solution also uses asynchronous messaging and data grid technology.From 03/2016 to 01/2017 I was member of the team responsible to deploy the new content management system for one of the big retail company of Spain. It'll be used for its corporate webpage.Later, I have been involved on the design and the deployment of a new data center. We are using multitenant technology, high availability infrastructure/platform and platform provisioning automation.
