These were my first steps in a professional association. As the youngest member of the Board of Directors, I did not have much experience, but contributed a fresh perspective that appealed to the Board. In a short time, I learned a great deal about how a company’s policy and external factors impact its distribution model, particularly with regard to its banking and financial brokers.

Edfin is the learning and examination platform for intermediaries in banking, insurance and credit services. As chairman I'm responsible for the conceptual development of the platform and the day to day management.

Paritary Committee 307, for the employees of self employed insurance brokers and insurance agents. My role as a board member of the employers bank, consists in negotiating collective terms of employment in collaborations withe the social partners.

PC341, is the Paritary Committee for the employees of self-employed intermediaries in banking and investment services, was founded on the initiative of BZB and the social partners in July 2015. My role as spokesman of the employers’ bank consists of negotiating collective employment terms in collaboration with the social partners.

Ombudsman insurance, is an independent mediation service. He is competent for complaints against insurers, brokers, agents,… that are affiliated to the Service.

From my position at Datafin, I dedicate myself as the broker for BZB-Fedafin, offering tailored made insurances to our members, such as Professional Liability, General Liability, Legal Assistance, D&O, and Cyber security.

The High Council for Self-Employed Persons and SMEs acts as a federal advisory board in which I am involved with in the sector commission 15 in various consultative meetings with regard to the financial sector at both national and European levels.

These were my first steps in the insurance sector. An external partner who was already working as an insurance broker and I established Assuranza, an insurance agency specialised in Branch 21 and Branch 23 products.
