I build the interfaces that advertisers use to manage and analyze ad campaigns, the platform and data pipelines that power those tools, and the signals they use to track key off-platform events.- I drove a substantial effort to close usability gaps across our reporting tools. Over the course of a year, I launched numerous features and iterative updates that increased overall usability scores by over 100% and lowered advertiser churn. - I drove a business-critical end-to-end signal protection initiative that developed novel statistical and modeling techniques, coupled with interface and access changes, resulting in protecting 30%+ of at-risk signals.

I worked on products that helped businesses answer the key question: “what happened as a result of spending money advertising on Pinterest?”1st Party Measurement - Pinners come to Pinterest to find inspiration for new ideas, to save things they love, and act on them in the future. I built measurement products that helped measure and prove that ads on Pinterest efficiently drive lower funnel actions, like offsite purchases. - I developed a novel 1p measurement product that helped advertisers and sales teams measure and prove. This became Pinterest’s most widely deployed measurement product, a non-causal conversion analysis that was delivered to 3000+ advertisers, driving $20m+ in incremental revenue. - I launched and managed a 1p conversion lift product that helped sophisticated clients casually measure this effect across all conversion channels.3rd Party Measurement - We partnered with 3rd party measurement providers to provide verification or additional signal visibility.- I launched our first 17 ad measurement integrations. Developed an internal tool for administering and managing these tools, and productionalizing standard pipelines across different use cases and vendors. These efforts drove measurement coverage of 60%+ of ad revenue.

Freemium - There was no way for someone interested in trying Teams to launch a free version of the product. I built the freemium version of Teams.- I defined and launched the freemium version of Microsoft Teams. This was the first freemium program within Office 365, and required solving numerous challenges across multiple engineering, marketing, business planning, and finance. I drove the definition of feature set, partnered with business strategy to develop a finance model, and worked with engineering to solve complex identity and o365 architectural challenges. This launch improved new user acquisition by 10%.Teams, Channels, and Bots - Teams was a brand new product in the Office 365 ecosystem, bringing new chat and interaction models to the enterprise. My role was building products and experiences that helped users learn and thrive in this new tool.- I built the user onboarding experience for Teams from the ground up, including new user flows, production of help content and video collateral.- I shipped multiple chat bots (with combined 80%+ DAU penetration) that served both as new user education, and served as “hero” examples for the 3rd party app developer ecosystem.

Microsoft invested heavily in developing a mobile phone ecosystem, and the camera platform was a key selling point in utilizing OS-provided software innovation to augment low-end hardware.- I led development and shipping Advanced Capture camera APIs on Windows 10, including HDR image capture and Low-Light Fusion. These features enabled the cameras on even the lowest end Windows Phone to have higher dynamic range and low-light performance via computational photography.- I also shipped core camera platform features utilized by 1st and 3rd party app partners and hardware vendors across the Windows ecosystem.
