Advised the U.S. Consul General in Montréal, I was responsible for researching and preparing sensitive position papers for purposes of advising senior management at the U.S. State Department on U.S. interests in Québec. Areas covered include; pharmaceutical, aerospace, agriculture, manufacturing, transportation and bilateral policy analysis. Developed and created capacity in economic analysis and reporting for the Public Affairs section, I was tasked with training and advising the officers on several economic issues. Worked closely with senior officers and executives, I was assisting in developing high-level contacts with Montréal’s business and government elites.

Hired to advise the Moroccan government run a US$1 million real-estate market reform and investor roadmap project in Agadir, Morocco, consisting of Institutional reform and change management. Mandate of changing the administrative process in land title registration, establish a one-stop shop for foreign investors to Morocco and train administration in the new system. Results: Established and designed a process improvement for the land registry agency, cutting delivery time by 70 percent.

Analysed and contributed to Canadian development policy on relations with the Inter American Development Bank and the Caribbean Development Bank (Canadian Government portfolio of C$500 Million). Results: Produced position papers and advised the Minister on Caribbean issues and on small island economies; focused on banking and agricultural reform.Invited as an advisor on small-island economies in a senior inter-departmental task force, with 15 members, to analyse and prepare the Canadian government position on Information Technology (ICT) and reducing the “Digital Divide” in developing countries in preparation for the G8 Summit. Results: Contributed to the Finance Department position for the Canadian delegation to the G8 Summit.

Results: Implemented a delivery system that increased efficiency by 50 percent and reduced paper waste by over 150 percent.
