Main mission, goal of position:The plant manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the plant. This includes planning and coordinating production activities, managing a team of production, and ensuring that the plant operates safely and efficiently. The production plant manager will also be responsible for controlling production costs, improving production efficiency, and establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.Major areas of responsibility, main processes, tasks:HSE, Safety & Compliance:Overall responsibility for employee safety, work in accordance with routines and procedures that ensure employee safety. Assure compliance with HSE regulations and company guidelines.General Managing:Fully manage the plant, including its production, planning, maintenance, quality, and operational excellence. Manage a team of production workers, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees. Ensure that the plant has the necessary resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet production goals. Plan and coordinate production activities to ensure that products are produced efficiently, on time, and to the required quality standards.Develop and implement production schedules and budgets.KPI, data and Improvements:Guide the plant in achieving its KPI targets derived from global targets.Lead and coach improvement initiatives, such as Lean and Operational Excellence, and other projects to improve quality, reduce costs, improve OEE, save timeMaintain and improve production efficiency. Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as productivity, quality, and on-time delivery. Costing and Finance:Monitor and control production costs, including raw materials, labor, and energy usage.Oversee capital expenses and operational expenses.

The Technical Systems Manager is responsible for the oversight of the Engineering, Maintenance, Plant Floor Systems & IT departments as well as for initiating & driving continuous improvement activities at the plant.

- Provide direct management for the local production departments in Roosendaal. This includes directing and coordinating maintenance & engineering activities for the Roosendaal Location to meet the Operational Plan.- Responsible for alignment of production activities with all cross-functional departments (Planning, Logistics, Quality, Finance and HR).- Provide leadership and guidance to develop and optimize a lean production organization with focuses on Safety, Quality, Service Level, Cost Control, and Continuous Improvement.- Mentor and develop subordinate leaders. - Manage the performance of personnel, by motivating and coaching them, to improve overall productivity.

Responsible for site installations (legal), including building responsible. Develop master plan (5 years) investment CAPEX plans in more detail (1 year) and ensure timely implementation (managing time, resources and costs). Define the long term strategy for maintenance and develop implementation plans. Responsible for the development and execution of the preventive maintenance plan. Contribute to delivering cost saving strategy by focusing on investment driven and reliability driven cost savings. Ensure all safety procedures and guidelines are implemented and enforced. 

The key areas of responsibility of the Business Engineer is leading the preparations of the different business cases that are part of the Strategic Plan of the Global Business Unit. This means that the Business Engineer analyses, leads and manages the business cases up to approved investments by the Lighting Management. Next to that the Business Engineer prepares the industrial strategy for the product categories within the Business Unit and for the production locations.

Managing a group of process engineers and work directly with project teams and local managers on projects that are identified by the Business Balanced Scorecard as potential areas for improvement. The group of process engineers often works on breakthrough projects that make a major improvement in a particular production area.
