I am a seasoned team leader, food-tech and sustainability expert, investor, startup mentor, and communicator with over 20 years of professional experience. As the Director at ProVeg Incubator, I support impact-driven startups developing sustainable food solutions. At the complementary program Kickstarting for Good, I help impact entrepreneurs develop, launch and build their nonprofit organizations. I am also a Venture Partner at Grey Silo Ventures, the corporate investment arm of the Cereal Docks Group.What's driving me? I am passionate about advancing change in the global food system and creating a more sustainable, healthy, and compassionate world - especially through entrepreneurship, innovation, investments, and partnerships.Since joining ProVeg in 2018, I have built and led an international and diverse team. I have overseen more than 60 investments in innovative alternative protein startups from all over the world. Out ream built a unique global network of mentors, partners, and industry experts to provide tailored support and guidance to the incubated startups and portfolio companies.Prior to joining ProVeg, I was in charge of marketing, communications and publications at the World Association of German Schools Abroad (WDA), a global non-profit organization. I led research projects in collaboration with the Bertelsmann Foundation and the University of St. Gallen. For this work, the WDA won the Innovation Award "Association of the Year"​ by the German Association for Association Management e.V. (DGVM). At KPMG in Germany, I focused on the key target audience of family businesses and the topic of growth markets like Brazil, India and China. I was project lead and editor-in-chief of the High Growth Markets Magazine, which won KPMG's Best of Brand award in the Thought Leadership category. As co-founder and co-CEO of a social startup, I gathered first-hand experience as an entrepreneur. The project was among the finalists at the Berlin-Brandenburg Business Plan Competition.I studied in Berlin, Toronto, Paris and Fribourg and hold degrees in non-profit and association management from the University of Fribourg and in social sciences from the Humboldt University of Berlin.
