He brought small-town charm into big-city markets, and he learned to merge his care for people with his desire to win. The result? A journalist who was the first to break stories not because he wanted to add to the wild and provocative nature of popular culture but because he wanted to get the truth out as soon as possible so he could help enlighten the community around him. As Alcides Segui transitions from a career in journalism to PR/Communication, he brings with him that same desire to foster a cohesive and united environment, the only difference is now his focus is on a business instead of a city. However, Alcides knows the importance of community, and his desire to grow the people around him by example is something that seems intrinsic to his nature.Alcides' drive has led him to a number of interesting professional experiences in his life, including working as an Anchor/Reporter/Photographer/Editor for smaller market news channels all the way to assuming the role as Morning Weekend Anchor/Reporter for WTVT-Fox 13 in Tampa, Florida.In addition to his professional career, Alcides is a dedicated and loving husband, and it is this position as a family man that he acknowledges to be both the greatest responsibility and adventure in a man's life.
