I blame it on Roller Skating ! I was a senior in High School when I first cracked the mic. Once I hear my voice coming out of the PA , I knew right then I found my calling. That experience lead me to a very successful broadcasting career.I got my start at The Connecticut School of broadcasting and while doing my post graduation interview with the school's director, he asked my what's my goal.I wanted to be in a top 10 market in 10 years. Took me only 5 yearsDuring my career as a broadcaster and programmer I have developed these skills. Audio production, writing, producing, recording and voicing client commercials and promos. Running an audio mixing console for live and recorded programs and audio content. On site remote broadcast engineer, set up and break down of P.A system, set up audio mixing console w/various microphones , both wired and wireless and computers that enable the remote broadcast to run properly. I also have Operations Manager experience. O.M, duties were to maintain the IT infrastructure, diagnose audio failures, switcher issues and VOIP problems. Digital Marketing is a major piece of the puzzle. I managed my team in creating and maintaining stations' websites to stay current with all forms of digital content. When it come to software ,I have experience working with, Adobe Premier, NextGen ,Wide Orbit , Dalet Audio System, Audio Vault and Avid. I also have extensive experience running audio consoles. Wheatstone, Rubicon ,Telos and other consoles. The most rewarding skills I have developed is to manage , guide and teach the staff. If the staff doesn't feel they are getting enough guidance and growth, there's a very good chance of losing great talent. And finally, partner with the radio station's clients and record companies to develop and execute defined marketing plan and execute synergy between Sales and Programming departments to achieve revenue goals. These are just some of my skills that I bring to my next opportunity. I have been blessed during my broadcast career. I have had the opportunity to broadcast from The Winter Olympics in Japan, many Disney remotes, being on stage in front of a sold out stadium and I was very fortunate to be awarded Personality of the year three times and music programmer three times. But the best recognition of my work is when The Mayor of DC made a proclamation that on my birthday it was Albie Dee Day (my on air name) In Washington DC. Years later still very proud of that. I am ready for my next adventurer. I am loyal, hard working and dedicated . I would love to be on your team
