CurrentAid the structural engineer of record to produce construction documents for building projects in commercial, healthcare, and industrial sectors. New buildings, additions, and renovations.Coordinate with owners, architects, MEP engineers, civil engineers, and contractors as a member of the design team. Actively involved in projects from schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.Conduct site observations of designed works.Review structural shop drawings for compliance with construction documents and specifications. Answer RFI’s from contractors, as required.Conduct field measurements and studies of existing structures to be renovated.Prepare forensic reports and documentation of existing building problems for building owners and property managers.Produce construction documentation for rehabilitation projects. These projects usually involved a field survey, measurement, and documentation of existing pavement conditions. Construction documents were then used for bidding purposes. Rehabilitation projects included roofs, parking garages, plaza decks, asphalt and concrete parking areas.
