Second Client Assignment via TMC:Project management role overseeing network design and sourcing of finished vechicles at Volvo Cars Outbound Logistics department. Main responsilbities are designing distribution networks and managing sourcing strategies within EMEA, a new transportation network for the Nordic markets and conducting a railway prestudy for finished vehicle distribution. In more detail, this entails using a data driven approach by analysing data, driving internal and external communication and cooperation, continiously working on finding improvements and cost efficiencies to develop and implement a clean distribution strategy.

Responsiblities included extensive supplier contact, supplier evaluation, establishing and managing needs, contract management, creating purchase orders, external and internal cross functional collaboration in the most timely and cost efficient manner.

My employment at Triona was my first within the IT-industry. Responsibilities included working closely with customers using Trionas own Transportation Management System, TRACS flow. The customer focus group was logistics companies using truck transportation with the goal of supporting customers with; -Implementation projects (identfying customer needs translating into software functionality) -Case management in Triona’s case management system Redmine. -Education and support The role had further responsibilities in carrying out system and application test related to new version releases of TRACS Flow.

Logistics Engineer at the biggest FV and used vehicles distributor in Sweden and Norway. Working with and analyzing transportation networks that encompassed truck, boat and train transportation in order to develop the most efficient distributionflow of vehicles. Main responbilities were working collaborativley in projects by identfying issues, continiously finding improvements and assisting with anaytical support by using Qlick Sense and Microsoft Excel. The analytical support consisted providing members with reports, dashboards, calculations, development of new models and simulation tools to reduce costs, improve lead times and create customer satisfaction.

Process operator within the food industry oveseeing and managing manufacturing processes and packaging of bread. Beyond this the responsbilities included cleaning and maintenance of the machines according to the 5S methodology.

Bangkok, Thailand

As a part of the exchange studies in Bangkok I got the opportunity to enroll in a coure that enabled me to do a shorter internship at a Volvo Trucks plant in Bangkok. The internship was within the Quality Control department, responsible for the quality assurance of the manufacturing processes. The internship resulted in the plant identifying defects such as rust, chips and electrical faults at a earlier stage. As a result, the Quality Control department managed to set up improved defect preventive measures with OEMS.
