Program Management: Serves as a program manager for the BlPOC Affinity Mentoring Program (BIPOCAMP), which connects BIPOC students and alum to develop career readiness for the former and the opportunity for the latter to share their experience and expertise while continuing to develop their leadership and coaching skills in the process. The pilot program was launched in the spring of 2022 and lasted three months. The first cohort involved seven mentoring pairs that met at least once a month. Throughout the program, the team recruited subject matter experts of color from the community to facilitate three virtual workshops to discuss topics that specifically impact BIPOC in the working world. Responsible for the production of a monthly newsletter to alum mentors to communicate upcoming events and important dates, as well as providing video recordings of past workshops. After the program concluded, an electronic survey was created to gather feedback from both mentors and mentees.Data Management: Developed a uniform coding standard to record alumni engagement metrics in the college database. The information gathered, along with demographic information of constituents is then used to assess the return of investment of current programming, which will then be utilized to inform future strategic engagement planning. Collaborate with the IT Services team to develop a dashboard and reporting system that would allow accessible data for internal use and for campus partners. Complete alumni list requests from other departments that are customizable depending on needs. Responsible for creating post-event surveys that utilize Google's Net Promoter Score (NPS) that gauges the likelihood that attendees recommend similar events in the future to their friends, colleagues, and family.Design: Provide creative digital assistance for any design needs to support engagement efforts, which included promotional materials, event programs, social media assets, and other collateral.

Inaugural BIPOC Affinity Gathering (2020): Collaborated with the Office of Diversity and Inclusive Excellence Education, Marketing and Communications, and Center for Life’s Work to provide support for the Black Student Union in organizing an affinity brunch that provided an opportunity for 20 students and 20 alumni of color to connect and share their story. This successful event is the first in what became a series that engage folks from different identity groups to provide spaces for connections, support, and community for both students and alumni.Recruitment and Training: Recruited and trained a competent and diverse team of 19 student assistants and assigned them different roles to ensure a successful execution of Homecoming and Reunion Weekend that welcomed 2500 guests. The coordinator also developed schedules, assignments, and assigned hours to student-staff and approved time entries for Payroll.Leadership: Using a balanced approach based on self-determination dimensions of competence, autonomy, and relatedness in working with student employees and graduate assistants by creating a clear training and onboarding program, encouraging freedom for students to take the lead on a project and manage their own time with clear deadlines, and providing constructive feedback, as well as support and acknowledgment of their work accomplishments.
