Managing and maintaining first and second levels of forensic, security and defence solutions for the local enforcement agencies such as AFIS “Automated Fingerprint Identification System” in collaboration with Safran Morpho (France); PRUM for biometric data exchange with EU member states; Maintaining Security Documents equipment/patch implementations for the local enforcement and Border Control; Computer based X-Ray screening for MIA (Malta International Airport) in collaboration with Renful Technologies (UK). Analysing and developing custom solutions written in .Net C# technologies to support business needs such as web services, web applications and reporting tools.

Analysing and Developing Custom Solutions written in .Net technologies (VB.Net, ASP.Net and WPF), accompanied with Database Design using MSSQL 2005/2008. Mainly worked on five different projects which are related to sales processing and retail information systems. My main role was to analyse and developing custom GUI, DB design (mapping, creating stored procedures and views) and back end coding.

VB/ASP.Net Developer, IT support and administration, Networking and electronics servicing. I had the opportunity to work on two different projects which are focused on tracking by using Google maps API, JavaScript ASP.Net and MSSQL. Including also the project which focused on Micro Payment Systems which involved Web Services, Database Design, point of sale software development and smartcard programming. This latter project was chosen and analysed in greater detail as part of my BSc dissertation.

For the first three years I worked as an apprentice in the technical apprentice Scheme, mainly on calibrations of electronic equipment, repairs and as a line technician on electrical and mechanical fault finding. After terminating the apprenticeship I became a fully qualified technician.
