As a Councillor, I serve on the Council’s Audit Panel, as Deputy Chair of the Kingborough Multicultural Advisory Group and the Kingborough Sport & Recreation Strategy Reference Group. I am also a permanent Board Member of the Channel Museum and was part of the CEO Recruitment Panel. These roles demonstrate my ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, develop strategies, and drive community initiatives.Under my leadership as CEO, Pathways has experienced significant growth, quadrupling in staff numbers and more than trebling in revenue. I have led the organisation through a successful transition to a company limited by guarantee, achieved ISO 9001 accreditation, and maintained a debt-free status with an asset base of over $3M. I have also been actively involved in mental health and well-being initiatives, participating in the transformation of alcohol and drug treatment programs and serving on advisory boards in the sector.In the social services, housing, and youth services domain, I have been a strong advocate for youth and social housing policy through my involvement with ShelterTAS. I launched Tessellate Support Services, a successful NDIS service delivery business focusing on youth with mental health diagnoses, and we grew it to 20 staff and $1M in revenues within 18 months. I have also implemented and updated child-safe policies and procedures in line with government requirements.Prior to my current roles, I held leadership positions in various consulting firms and managed my own successful consulting business, Sonlight Enterprises. I have a proven track record of driving business growth, managing teams, and delivering results for clients across multiple industries.With my strong educational background, including a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Hons) and a Diploma of Leadership and Management, along with my extensive professional experience, I am well-equipped to continue making a positive impact in the youth services sector and beyond.
