Aldo is an award-winning Senior Product Designer/Plastic Applications Specialist with 34 years of experience in a wide variety of new product development programs; mainly from concepts through production. Prior to founding his own firm, Evolve Design Solutions Inc., in 2005, he spent 15 years as a consultant in product development working for two major design firms, where he spearheaded the plastic applications department and held the title of Design Engineering Director. Aldo has worked with many leading and reputable companies such as Black & Decker, Nortel Networks, Motorola, General Motors, Electrolux, Canada Post, MDS Nordion, Hydro-Quebec, C-MAC and CCM.Aldo has substantial experience in 3D CAD modeling, mold filling analysis/simulation as well as in the development of injection molded components and plastic materials selection. He is an avid supporter of DFMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly), CE, RP (Rapid Prototyping) and RT (Rapid Tooling) as well as mold filling analysis/simulation.
