Throughout my career in semiconductors, I have experienced significant technology advances, starting with my first home PC purchase using floppy disks (you can search what these are), to the emergence of autonomous vehicles, sophisticated robotics, and new computing platforms that are mimicking the complex human brain. This career span also includes Y2K (again, you can look it up). It has been an eventful and fulfilling ride, and with the development cycle continuing to accelerate, the anticipation of what is around the corner is truly exciting. I have had the privilege and honor of working for companies, in varying degrees of roles and responsibilities, that have contributed to these technology advancements. While not always visible or in the forefront compared to the notable technology leaders we consistently see on the front page news, it is rewarding to know that those same companies, many with whom I have worked closely, would not have realized the success without our innovation and collaborative business relationships. This work has allowed me to travel to many parts of the world, learning the many different cultures and traditions, which has directly influenced me and enhanced by personal and professional development. My experience has taught me to be proud and humble, as yesterday’s success does not necessarily lead to future success. One must stay hungry and understand that the world is rapidly changing, and that we must remain curious and engaged to remain viable. I'm looking forward to the next generation of technology and innovation, and very happy to be a part of the process.
