- Conducted daily field missions through municipalities and indigenous territories in the northern of the Department of Cauca (region with active armed conflict) to monitor the situation in the area and to identify concerns and challenges faced by peace signers of the Final Peace Agreement, local institutions, social leaders and the communities affected by the armed conflict, as well as to support institutional and community efforts and initiatives in order to promote the effective implementation of the Final Peace Agreement (between the National Government and the FARC-EP) aimed to lasting peace.- Liaison with local, regional, and national institutions, as well as with NGOs, UN agencies, communities, ethnic organizations (Afro-Colombians and indigenous) and the Colombian armed forces.- Collection and political analysis of information for the verification of compliance with the Final Peace Agreement, particularly with respect to: 1) security guarantees for peace signatories and their families, communities, social leaders and human rights defenders; 2) economic, social and political reincorporation of peace signers; 3) sanctions issued by the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP) with respect to crimes committed in the armed conflict; 4) ethnic chapter; and 5) integral rural reform.- Participation in emergency humanitarian (fact-finding) missions as well as in institutional and community meetings and events on behalf of the United Nations Verification Mission in Colombia.- Drafting of daily, biweekly, and monthly reports on the situation in the territories verified.- Local focal point for the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP) related-matters.

- Conducted interviews with refugees, asylum seekers, and other people of concern to assess their resettlement needs and process qualifying candidates to resettlement countries. - Research on the country-of-origin information as well as the legal framework of national law, international refugee law, and other fields of public international law to conduct a legal analysis case-by-case to support the resettlement submissions. - Drafting of registration form cases (English) for submitting applications to resettlement countries. - Provided one-on-one legal counseling concerning resettlement criteria and procedures. - Assessed protection concerns of people in the resettlement process and referred them to appropriate services/units (e.g., psychosocial, health services, livelihood assistance, etc.).

- Technical and operational support to the work of the Office of the Attorney General for the Protection of Children of the State of Chihuahua for the evaluation and assessment of protection needs, rights restitution plans, as well as the best interest of children, in response to the migratory emergency in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico (border with El Paso, Texas, USA) in order to adapt and strengthen attention routes and assisted return procedures (if applicable according to the best interests of the child) with a differentiated approach to migrant children, integrating national and international standards in human rights, children rights, as well as in immigration and refugee law.

- Through the management of a team with an average of 15 team members (undergraduate and graduate students), we provided legal counseling and legal representation to asylum seekers and refugees in legal procedures (e.g., immigration regularization, immigration detention, refugee status determination, family reunification, refoulement, statelessness) according to protection and advocacy strategies based on a case-by-case protection assessment.- Liaison with government institutions (both local and national), international organizations, UNagencies, NGOs, academy, among other stakeholders to strengthen protection routes.- Case working management and supervision on cases of refugees and asylum seekers (includingGBV survivors, children, elderly, persons deprived of their liberty) under a legal and psychosocialapproach, handled by undergraduate and graduate university students.- Elaboration of legal documents with a focus on legal protection (e.g., administrative appeals,judicial complaints, petitions, and communications to international human rights mechanisms).- Participation in seminars and workshops regarding human rights and international protection.- Monitoring and documenting immigration detention centers.- Participation in recruitment and evaluation processes for student members of the legal clinic.- Reporting to the donor (UNHCR) regarding the activities and the fulfillment of the objectives.

- Delivered impactful capacity-building sessions, offering specialized technical training on the legal framework for migration, international protection, and the operation of the asylum system in Mexico for the organization's team. - Provided legal advice for the management of individual cases of asylum seekers and refugees (e.g., immigration regularization, refugee status determination procedures, familiar reunification, and naturalization).
