Hewlett-Packard’s NAS 8000 was a Linux-based enterprise-class Network-Attached Storage Device featuring High Availability, SAN data storage and management, Java user interface, tight integration with Unix/Linux and Windows clients and a published API for customers and third-parties to extend its functionality. I was a member of the team responsible for that API, the lower levels of system configuration and management, and the subsystems that made it work (essentially from Linux kernel modifications and configuration all the way to the interface for the GUI, which was a separate team). My responsibilities were focused on System Events, SNMP, TCP/IP configuration, SSH and general security, as well as collaborating with other team members as needed.• Develop HP NAS 8000 (Network Attached Storage appliance) • Subsystems owned: System Events, SNMP, Bonding (TCP/IP), SSH, security• Current Product Engineering (CPE), handling support escalations

­LinuxMall was an internet start-up created to promote Linux and all related products. While creating one of the first e-commerce websites, we also developed a complete technology infrastructure for warehouse order processing, vendor integration and community hub.
