Intern for UC Santa Cruz Government and Community Relations, specifically with federal advocacy

-Work cooperatively and effectively with students, faculty, staff, and co-workers of diverse cultural backgrounds. -Provide advising to prospective, selected, and returning students -Assist with special projects and events such as fairs, workshops, orientations, and international mingles-Provide professional, service-oriented reception for the Office

One of College Ten's Executive Officers for the 2015-2016 school year. As VP of Finance, my duties include the following: -To propose an annual budget to College Ten Student Senate-To oversee and coordinate the distribution of the college membership fees budget of College Ten-To make available a published report of the funds dispersed by College Ten Student Senate-To make recommendations to College Ten Student Senate on all funding proposals-To ensure that all student requesting funds from College Ten Student Senate abide by the budget guidelines set forth in the by laws of this constitution.

Intern for the University of California Office of the President State Government Relations. Responsibilities include:· Assist the Office with legislative analysis and bill tracking· Draft newsletters and maintain correspondence for UC Advocacy Network· Create and publish engaging social media posts to highlight the UC

-Conduct research and write articles for the organization’s website and bi-monthly publication-Coordinate with Senior Research Fellows to publish external articles -Devise, draft, and submit formal grant proposals on behalf of the organization

Attend all committee meetingsSubmit a report after each committee meeting and/or conference call via the SWC Report FormSubmit any recommendations that UCSA should take a formal action on, in resolution formAttend and participate in SWC representative conference calls as scheduledAttend the 3 UCSA Conferences held each yearAttend the UCSA Board of Directors meeting when your campus is hosting
