I am a highly motivated individual with more than 30 years’ experience gained in natural resources management and conservation, through which I have gained a significant and very transferable range of experience and skills. My key expertise includes management and oversight of large programmes and leadership of a global programme portfolio, with excellent skills in project and programme strategy development, planning and implementation. This is combined with extensive experience of working in and with International NGOs (both conservation and development focused) including at both senior management and operational levels, with a keen interest and proactively engaged in cross-organisational exchange and peer learning to improve organisational effectiveness.Also a strong strategic sense with very well developed networking, facilitation and convening skills gained from working with multicultural communities and globally distributed teams, including as part of multidisciplinary teams in a change process and implementing a transition of programme and organisational structures.
