Molecular biologist who started as a biochemist and have acquired Ph.D. in molecular medicine. My Ph.D. work is focused on the molecular mechanisms of the Transcription Export Complex (TREX) and its application in cancer research. I have also been working with long non coding RNAs (lncRNAs) as an approach to unravel novel gene based cancer therapeutic strategy. Currently working on functional genomic team using Whole Genome Sequencing, Whole Transcriptome Sequencing, and Optical Genome Mapping to identify potential causative variants in genes predisposing for Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer (HBOC)Experiences working in international groups. Strong background in biochemistry assay, cellular- and molecular biology (both classic and modern), experiment planning and execution, project and time management, protocol establishment, data analysis and interpretation and result presentation.I am always excited to pursue the search for truth and cannot wait to further improve my set of skills.
