Initially joined Sary interested in focusing on tackling fintech-related challenges as an individual contributor, but a few months later it became one of many other responsibilities as a Head of Product.

Set Product strategy and vision, and empower the team to plan and deliver. I’m leading Product Managers, Designers and Analysts to ensure we are always on top of business and customers' needs. We work with internal and external stakeholders to insure we are solving the right business problems with solutions that increase our revenue, and/or reduce operational costs, while providing our customers with a great experience.

- Empower the team to develop product strategy vision and roadmaps, withshort, medium and long-term features to achieve the company's vision.- Support the team in their day-to-day execution by bringing up-to-date productmanagement techniques, workflows and business opportunities.- Work with business and leadership teams to bring products to market anddevelop and grow business opportunities,- Establish the UX/UI unit to support and guide developing user experience goals, stories and requirements that will be used to drive product specifications.- Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirementsand product development programs; establishing time schedules with engineering and logistics.- Set a clear strategy to develop product management unit by planning personnel learning and development projects.- Lead sourcing and hiring activities to build product management and UX/UI units.- Retain current personnel by managing their day-to-day needs.

Founded and managed various projects:- Saudi Gamer (2012-2020): one of the biggest entertainment news sites in the region specialized in creating all kinds of content for gamers specifically, reaching millions of gamers in the middle east. I assembled a great professional content team, and also lead development teams to create games and apps for Saudi Gamer. Saudi Gamer was acquired by Webedia in 2020.- Showmad (e-commerce) from 2016 to 2017 (1 year): An online store that we founded in collaboration with Souq. Its goal was to create merchandise for local celebrities. We had to shut it down later. While it did very well, it was hard to scale. Had great experience learning about everything involved in e-commerce.- Smart Groups (development) from August 2017 to March 2018:Got accepted at STC’s inspireU accelerator program (7 startups out of 500+ applicants) to support a product I was developing that utilizes machine learning to help groups find activities and consume existing services as a group. By March 2018, the MVP we made for data collection had to be shut down due to privacy concerns that prevented efficient data collection.- Data Analysis Services (2018-2019):Offer data analysis services for startups. This includes data wrangling, retrieving key insights and KPIs from their data sources, and assist them with their overall data strategy. Plus create efficient dashboards to help them reach their growth goals.

Initially contracted by GCAM to review video games through my company only for clearance, I later proposed an age classification system and process to make it easier for publishers to interact with GCAM. The entire guidelines, age classification design and process was designed and implemented by myself, and handed over to GCAM in 2018.

In this role I worked on:- Setup the internal process for User Experience design.- Write interface guidelines for developers to ensure consistent UX across the products.- Participate in communicating business requirements to development.- Running and reporting usability tests.
