Schlumberger – Gurgaon, India (Cairn – Vedanta ltd.)Started up first lump sum turnkey oil and gas exploration project in the field of Rajasthan for Cairn – Vedanta. Responsible for all technical aspects related to well construction and interventions.- Designed the first High Temperature (HT) wells ever drilled in the field.- Sourced project medium and long lead items saving the project $ 1.1M over one year.- Reduced 9% of the project variable cost by optimizing wells design in comparison with initial bidding proposal.- Conducted a detailed field study to minimized risk exposure and ensure cost effective project execution.- Led client negotiations after identifying technical variations from the contractual scope of work.

Iraq

Schlumberger – Basra, Iraq; (Kuwait Energy)Started up the first Lump Sum turnkey gas appraisal project in SIba field for Kuwait Energy.- Developed project basis of design (BoD) and engineering programs for the first 3 appraisal wells ever drilled by the company and coordinated with various segments and contractors to Design, Execute and Evaluate (DEE) our drilling operations.- Introduced new technologies to improve drilling rate, resulting in 40% reduction in well construction time.- Implemented rig optimization process to reduce Non-Production Time (NPT) from 7 to 3 days, resulting in savings of $ 220k.

Basra

Schlumberger – Basra, Iraq (ENI)- Managed a crew of 80-100 personnel with contractors and clients on board in a fast-paced operation, costing $ 60k/day.- Introduced new technologies and executed continues improvement projects, achieved performance records in 2 rigs (average ROP ~ 400 ft/day).- Broke the records drilling the fastest vertical and deviated wells in southern Iraq.- Led operational safety teams to investigate accidents on rig. Created innovative techniques to enhance safety and motivation among crew. Achieved best record of 365 days of Loss Time Injury (LTI).

Roo-Bp Camp - Basra

Schlumberger – Basra, Iraq (BP - ROO)Contracted by BP-ROO to coordinate their entire well testing operations in the super-giant oil field of Rumaila. My area of responsibility was to plan operational tasks for all vendors and prioritize activities to meet the operational and subsurface requirements, and also ensure the ultimate resources utilization.

Main Base Camp - Basra

Schlumberger – Basra, Iraq (ENI)Coordinated Well production and intervention operations in the giant oil field of AlZubair. My area of responsibilities included operational planning and resources management, project revenue forecast, and reporting project development. In addition to my responsibilities, I analysed client main challenges and proposed new technologies implementation in which the project revenue was increased by 15% (~$345K/month) due to additional sell up services.

Main Base Camp - Basra

Schlumberger – Basra, Iraq (ExxonMobil, GPN, and ENI)Led drilling operations and engineering across $100M+ turnkey projects. My role included, but was not limited to, the following:- Field supervision of HPHT and directional wells as NWSS with >50 team members from more than 10 nationalities.- Drilled 3 out of the <10 HPHT wells ever drilled in Iraq's Badra oilfield history.- Development of engineering programs and coordination with various Schlumberger/3rd party segments to Design, Execute and Evaluate (DEE) our drilling operations.

Baghdad Hq

- Ensured working and operational efficiency of Asiacell telecom. LAN, WAN, and Intranet systems.- Implemented all necessary network security measures to avoid security breaches.- Provided training on network administration for new and less experienced team members.

Iraq

- Managed network connectivity of Al Mazaya telecom. and ensured its LAN/WAN infrastructure was operating according to prescribed best practices and technical standards.- Ensured stability and security of network by regularly monitoring systems, trouble-shooting potential problems and delegating software issues to vendors for immediate resolution.- Developed network access protocols and tasked to maintain documentation to tightly secure all systems.- Installed, maintained, supported and updated all Microsoft Windows operating systems for all workstations and servers within the network.
