I first interned with Capgemini where I was working within the Service Management Org (SMO) on one of the largest accounts at the time, I would remain working with this account for the duration of my time there. During the internship, I helped to create various Sharepoint solutions using Sharepoint Designer 2010, one of the key solutions helped connect Capgemini leadership with team members using calendaring functionality. Outside of this, I assisted with time and expense reconciliation. I also presented an intern research project on the Internt of Things (IoT) that included recommendations on how to utilize the technology for our client to leadership team. I joined Capgemini after the internship and started in a technical PM role, where I managed code drops for more than 15 concurrent projects, and communicated these clearly out to more than 300 people affected by each. I reduced client escalations down to 0 from almost daily, and helped to unite the international team by creating and disseminating a team newsletter. From here, I transitioned back to the SMO team where I was quickly promoted to take over as the key point of contact for all resourcing, financial/time reporting, and team activities. I oversaw an offshore team of 3 people, and helped to create process improvements which reduced client escalations on resourcing and expense reporting to 0 from monthly escalations.

Amaxra Inc. is a Business Consulting firm, as well as a Microsoft preferred supplier. I interned with Amaxra for 2 consecutive summers during college, during these internships I focused first on resourcing and then on financials. While working with the resourcing org, I was client facing and helping to field questions from consultants, as well as gather required information for project submittals. I helped maintain the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system where I kept contact information, and project opportunities up to date as well as sent out internal communications via ClickDimensions. Moving into the finance focus, I performed an audit of all company expenses from January through June of 2015. Outside of these responsibilities, I helped the company with promotional opportunities, office management, and scheduling.

The French Film Festival in Richmond is the largest French Film Festival in the United States and brings over 40 influential French directors and actors to present their films during the festival. I interned with the French Film Festival where I, along with a dedicated team, assisted with running and promoting the festival. I helped to translate interviews, movie reviews, and summaries from French to English and helped to write film analyses featured in festival documents. During the festival I managed the logistics, and transportation for the French delegation.

Managed 2 research projects over an 8-week period working with World Wide Telescope to discover how the application could be applied in high schools, Geosynth to look at how we can create 3D images using photography, and finally Excel to review code bugs. During the projects, I documented my processes as well as created bug reports, and submitted a progress report to management every 4 weeks. To conclude the internship, I presented my findings to other interns as well as a group of Microsoft employees.
