I am a dual major in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University with a minor in Business Administration. I have experience in the field of product design engineering, which represents my main interests in the field and is supplemented by my experience with 3D modeling and 3D printers.I enjoy dealing with the complex problems that come with product design and manufacturing, regardless of the industry they come from. Designing for use by people creates interesting puzzles and problems that cannot be found anywhere else, and they are the main drive for me joining the engineering field. I enjoy working in teams full of diverse individuals and thought processes as I believe they create the best ideas, and enjoy friendly work environments. I believe in the value of hard work, and use that value to tackle any task I come upon.

While there, I gained experience in fixture design for an end of line test cell, creating a prototype product for market field testing, product testing, process design, and team management. While I was there, Blount ICS was currently in the process of finalizing a new product, which allowed me to observe product development activities during the final phases of the design process, including final tests and manufacturing line setup. By the end of my time there, I had finished three large time projects, with the highlight involving a completed prototype saw which went for market testing after my internship had ended.
