I undertook a final year research project focusing on the investigation and implementation of an optimization model for a hybrid renewable energy generation system. This system comprised of a photovoltaic subsystem, battery bank subsystem, and diesel generator subsystem. My responsibilities included designing and building circuitry to measure the ambient temperature around the solar panel, monitor solar irradiance, and implement Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) for the solar panel.
