During my internship at CBA, I utilized Microsoft Excel to automate the monthly performance and cash flow monitoring for over 280 franchise locations. I also developed an automated tracking sheet that notifies the appropriate individuals when a change in royalty contracts is upcoming, significantly reducing the risk of missed contract changes. Additionally, I analyzed store performance to support the Operations team in making informed decisions. Throughout the internship, I also completed various ad-hoc projects to assist the Finance department with opportunity analysis, store performance evaluations, and financial trends and projections.

During my internship, I acquired a comprehensive understanding of the high-yield bond market, particularly in researching companies and their bonds using indicators and trends such as EBITDA calculations, coverage analyses, and leverage ratios extracted from quarterly and annual filings. This knowledge culminated in a final project where I evaluated a company's bonds and presented my findings and recommendations to my supervisor and the trading floor, demonstrating my ability to apply newly learned concepts to real-world scenarios in finance.
