I spent five years leading the design team of a custom architectural metal shop before leaving to pursue the longstanding goal of running my own studio. Through Iron Mesa Studio, I aim to design and build home goods and other products aligned with a carefully curated vision, while simultaneously offering my design services to various clients throughout the country. I am an expert in Solidworks and other CAD programs, and can leverage the knowledge I have cultivated throughout my career to ensure your product is a success. I have worked with some of the most skilled metal fabricators and furniture makers in the American West, leading to a deep understanding of the manufacturing processes available for metal, wood, and plastics. A continuous commitment to learning is important for any designer; Iron Mesa is doing all it can to stay literate in the world of digital fabrication, exploring new technologies and processes as they come to market and applying them to the products of client and studio alike. Iron Mesa Studio will provide its partners with the best of both worlds; the fixation on fabrication and function often provided by an engineer, blended with the devotion to detail and aesthetic often characterized by a designer.I am inherently curious but aesthetically trained, able to create highly functional products in a way few others can.
