Staff Secretary to the Commanding General, MCRD San Diego and the Western Recruiting Region

- Responsible for the training, welfare, morale, and readiness of 180 recruits and 14 Drill Instructors each cycle. -Lead and supervise all training events, ensuring effective team management, professional and personal development, and execution in accordance with the Recruit Training Order.- Manage personnel, timeliness, logistics, administration, and evaluations, balancing task accomplishment with the personal welfare of team members and recruits in a high-stress, continuous, and fluid training environment.- Innovate on each iteration and recommend improvements to the curriculum to better prepare the next generation of Marines and leaders while shaping a positive organizational culture.

• Responsible for the management, training, morale, and readiness of 132 Marines and their families.• Responsible for over $100 million in equipment, including two critical national assets, with no discrepancies.• Led and mentored a staff of seven officers, providing professional guidance and developing subordinate leadership relationships. Developed and implemented a simulation program and officer training program that resulted in a 300% increase in officer training qualifications within the company.• Prepared and deployed the company in support of the largest Marine Corps-Navy integrated exercise on the East Coast while simultaneously meeting all readiness, training, administrative, and material accountability requirements.

Manage administration, training, readiness, equipment, and operations for a detachment of over 130 Marines, $100 million in equipment, and two critical national assets. Lead, coordinate, and supervise the detachment staff officers. Mentor and provide direction to subordinate section leadership. Responsible for the discipline and morale of Marines on behalf of the commanding officer, and ensure the unit is constantly ready to deploy tactically, medically, and personally. When necessary, serve as the commanding officer.

Managed all administrative functions, including manpower and finance, for a squadron of over 600 Marines, during which time the squadron was awarded Marine Air Control Squadron of the Year and has been nominated for the Meritorious Unit Commendation award. Led, mentored, and supervised a section of 6 Marines in the accomplishment of these duties. Provided legal guidance to and coordinated legal action on behalf of the commanding officer.

Crew Officer-in-Charge, Operations Section, Tactical Air Operations Center Detachment, Marine Air Control Squadron 2. In garrison, responsible for the training, deployability, and morale of 31 Marine operators. When operational, responsible for managing friendly traffic, surveillance and classification of non-friendly aircraft, directing interception of hostile aircraft, coordinating employment of surface-to-air missiles, and maintaining the Tactical Data System.

Served as a separations clerk, Finance Office, Combat Development Command, Marine Corps Base Quantico. Audited over 2,100 Marines for pay issues before separation. Was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for work on the Disability Severance Pay project. As project lead, personally reviewed and processed all cases, resulting in $600,000 in corrections being paid out to disabled Marines.
