Learned the fundamentals of proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzers and fuel cells. Applied design for manufacturing and assembly principles to design hardware for a high throughput PEM electrolyzer cell testing device. Conducted research on the development of a novel in-assembly membrane expansion methodology for PEM electrolyzer cells.

Explored the modelling and control of a soft robotic actuator using data-driven techniques. Worked in cooperation with research advisors to implement a data-driven model of the actuator using MATLAB and Abaqus, and used material testing and computer vision techniques for model validation.
