Coordinating the end-to-end process of digital asset development, from scoping and design to final deployment. I work within the animal department at the zoo. my role is to maintain the enclosures safety and design new enclosures and furniture for the animals. I also manage teams of people through out a project and during our regular working day. My role involves me communicating with other departments and external contractors. We all work together to have a high quality finish. Within my team I train others on the use of power tools and machinery along with new skills for building and fixing things. As part of my CPD I have joined the firearms team, making me responsible to deal with emergency situations at the zoo.

Training to be an electrician whilst working on a wide variety of construction projects. Focused around all aspects of buildings, security and fire equipment.

I am currently an animal keeper at Dartmoor Zoo. Working with a wide variety of species at the facility from tigers to meerkats.

I worked 4 days a week with the keepers at dartmoor zoo. I was trained to do the bird and mammal round independently. I would also help on the big cat and paddock round. I was also trained to drive a 3 tone dumper truck and a tractor.

I regularly give public speeches on the animals at Dartmoor zoo. I also give one to one talks on smaller animals like reptiles and help them to handle the animal correctly. Another role is leading the junior keeper experiences. In the mornings I part take in doing health checks and water and feed changes. In my junior keeper experiences I have to give them a brief on health and safety for the day, and then we do jobs like cleans and feeds while I talk about the animals, we then go on to give them a personal tour and at the end of the day I give them a feedback form and so far I have had perfect reviews.
