I am a driven and people focused professional with a wide range of experience in Financial Reporting, Analysis, Planning, and Budgeting. My colleagues know me as a motivating person, focused on finding new and innovative solutions to problems throughout my journey at Texas A&M University as well as my internships at Spring Hill State Bank and Northwestern Mutual. My key achievements in areas of interest include:Financial Reporting and Analysis- As a Credit Department Trainee with Spring Hill State Bank, I analyzed commercial financial statements and examined profit and loss statements to determine client's ability to repay debt as well as reviewed balance sheets for current and leverage positions to determine the health of the business. I also analyzed personal financial statements and credit bureau reports to determine the financial strength and creditworthiness to measure guarantor support.FP&A- I worked as Financial Representative Intern for Northwestern Mutual where I developed comprehensive plans which included insurance, retirement, and investing components to best fit clients' needs based on current financial situations. I gained much experience in communicating with clients and conveying critical information to set them on the right track for maximum financial success.Financial BudgetingI served as the Treasurer for my Men's Organization where I managed a budget of $15,000 to run all planned events throughout the school year, including our philanthropy event which raised nearly $4,000. I recorded all financial transactions, resulting in adequate documentation for University requirements, while gaining proficiency in excel.
