Coordinate volunteering activities for Gastrointestinal Surgery, Trauma, and Transplant Unit (GISTT), Cancer Inpatient Unit, and 5South Short Stay Unit.-Complete administrative duties, such as handling time and attendance records, interviewing and training new volunteers, and representing the GISTT and Cancer Inpatient units at Orientation and Open House events.-Collaborate with hospital staff and unit mentors to oversee and improve upon volunteering activities within the units.

Assist in the patient enrollment and execution of various research studies within the Department of Internal Medicine. Research studies focus on applying everyday technology to improve the prevention/treatment of disease or general health concerns. Examples include the implementation of diabetic foot ulcer imaging software, a Fitbit-based racing application to encourage exercise among the obese population, and a fall-risk analysis project.

Provide personal insight and resources to undergraduate students as they progress through coursework and pursue academic opportunities, and conduct resume/CV reviews as well as provide professional guidance as students communicate with employers and seek out research/job opportunities.

-Actively meet and communicate with prospective engineering students and their families, serving as a resource for people to learn about our college and what makes us a unique and exceptional engineering program-Give tours of the Seamans Center for the Engineering Arts & Sciences-assist with clerical work in the admissions office.

• Developed endoscopic hemostasis device and tested performance in simulated gastrointestinal environments• Conducted investigative biomaterials testing for various company teams and presented data analysis and conclusions• Led rheology test method development through testing and literature research and presented progress to global team in Cork, Ireland
