Characterized materials using the Charpy impact tester and the Automated Hardness Indenter.Utilized microscopy techniques for the ESEM, DSX110, and DSX500 to examine microstructure and characterize macroscopic features present in the weld region. Developed Vickers microhardness mapping for weld zones.

Thin Film Deposition for Designer Oxide MaterialsTuned surfaces of materials by rinsing, etching, and annealing, to be verified using characterization tools.Sonicated substrates to be analyzed using an atomic force microscope to test for surface characteristics.
