Such representation includes, among others, litigation arising out of claims concerning employment discrimination, searches and seizures, false arrest, malicious prosecution, excessive force and substantive and procedural due process violations. Alec also represents clients in prisoner’s civil rights litigation arising out of claims concerning solitary confinement, failure to treat serious medical needs, and prison conditions.Alec also serves as pro bono counsel in prisoner’s civil rights litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and as outside pro bono counsel to the Trade Institute of Pittsburgh, a Homewood-based non-profit organization whose mission pertains to prisoner reentry and reintegration through the teaching of trade certifications.Alec started his career at Leech Tishman Fuscaldo & Lampl, LLC where he represented clients in commercial and complex litigation.
