I am currently a senior at the Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, pursuing three Bachelor’s Degrees in Finance with a concentration in Accounting, International Business, and Spanish, along with an Undergraduate Certificate in Business Languages (Spanish). My academic and professional experiences have equipped me with a solid foundation in finance and accounting, along with a global perspective, preparing me to analyze complex financial challenges and support strategic decision-making in diverse business environments.This past summer, I served as a Sales Intern with Arthur J. Gallagher Inc., where I contributed to high-value client engagements by supporting senior consultants with financial insights and recommendations for healthcare benefit plans. I actively participated in client meetings, refining my skills in client communication and problem-solving, and I furthered my industry knowledge by attending specialized workshops at Gallagher’s headquarters in Chicago.Additionally, through my Equitable Externship Engage Program experience, I had the opportunity to work closely with financial advisors, gaining hands-on exposure to financial planning, client advisory practices, and compliance. This experience included conducting a case study that enhanced my analytical and strategic thinking skills, further solidifying my commitment to a career in finance.My study abroad experience at La Universidad de Cantabria in Santander, Spain, enriched my ability to operate cross-culturally and improved my Spanish fluency, a skill I aim to leverage in the increasingly global finance and accounting industries.With a strong background in finance, accounting, and client relations, I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in a finance or accounting role where I can contribute to meaningful financial analysis and strategic planning. My commitment to continuous learning, combined with a disciplined and detail-oriented approach, makes me well-prepared to add value to organizations in the finance sector.
