I was a direct admit student to the Kelley School Business, double majoring in Finance and Accounting pursuing a co-major in International Business while abroad in Milan, Italy in the spring of 2016. While in Milan I continued my education at the prestigious Bocconi University, a top ranked business school globally.One of my main strengths is influencing others by developing long-term relationships based on trust and engaging individuals on a personal level. I have done this both in a team and as a leader when I was senior captain of my high school wrestling team and the VP of Finance with my fraternity. I have also demonstrated this in the work force by managing a team of 4 tenured employees for a new marina division acquired by Brunswick in April of 2022.I take commitments very seriously, if given a specific job with a due date I will have top quality work done by the date stated, and I expect the same when working in a group. My strong work ethic allows me to complete high quality work and has led me to solve problems in a number of different ways using critical thinking.I am a very analytical thinker, always looking at the facts and numbers before coming to a conclusion. This has led me to take risks only if they are calculated and every angle of the deal has been looked at. When every aspect of a situation is taken into account great sound decisions are made. This is demonstrated by my 620 BAT score ranking me in the 96th percentile, an aptitude test of financial analysis developed by Bloomberg.I’ve had the opportunity to devote a month of my time working for a Christian based youth camp earlier in my high school career. I was also elected the VP of finance for my fraternity Delta Upsilon where I was responsible with a budget of $60,000 with a chapter consisting of 156 members at peak enrollment. During this time I was in direct contact with our nationals finding ways to fund philanthropy events and social events for two semesters.These reasons and many more are why I want to pursue a career in the financial industry.
